How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today?
Have you seen in your dreams you drove your car, or you and others were in various vehicles? Today, I would like to share what vehicles in dreams would mean.
I had dreams on various kinds of vehicles. Sometimes I drove my own car. Other times, I was in a kayak with a few people. In one of such kayak dreams, there were three teams. There seemed to be a race between the three. We were rowing in a valley, competing. There was a gorge, a deep and narrow valley surrounded by hard rocks. The valley was so narrow that only one kayak at a time would be able to go through it. While the other two kayaks were in front of my team, I thought my team must fly in the narrow valley, and we flew up while still sitting in the kayak. In another dream, I was in the airport, and later I was on board. I was sitting on the very front row in the airplane. I saw my old friend whose name means “Great Grace.” She seemed to be next to me or one row behind my seat. I also saw another friend of mine in the middle of the row behind my seat. I took my bag from the cabin above and brought out my books, a journal notebook and a pen from the bag.
John Paul Jackson wrote about vehicles in his book, “Top 20 Dreams,” thus:
A vehicle can represent a job, career, ministry, or even a group of people helping you fulfill a calling or purpose close to your heart.
[Jackson, John Paul. Top 20 Dreams: What the 20 Most Common Dreams are Telling You (p. 42). Streams Ministries. Kindle Edition.]
He encouraged dreamers to identify first, the owner of the vehicle; second, the type of vehicle; third and perhaps the most important, the condition of the vehicle. (Flat tires would mean not enough of the Holy Spirit.)
And I found it interesting to read the different types of vehicles.
A bus is bigger than a car and typically represents a ministry or business that is capable of moving (inspiring, influencing) a larger group of people.
Boats travel on water (the Spirit) and typically refer to a ministry or business that operates in the spiritual realm. Was the boat traveling on a pond, lake, or ocean? The size of the body of water will often speak to the scale of the spiritual influence (local, national, international).
Airplanes travel in the air (the Spirit) and can move quickly from country to country (over national geographic boundaries). So, they usually indicate an international ministry or business. They could also refer to how the ministry or business uses the airwaves or internet to point people to God.

Indeed, it makes sense to me that I was in the airplane, and took my books, a notebook and a pen. It would mean my writing and posting blogs on internet to reach people in and outside Korea and Great Grace is bestowed from our Father.
I would like to share more dreams on vehicles and people in the vehicles. In one dream, I was in a car belonging to someone that I know, and she was driving her own car. I was sitting next to her. Then she drove into a street that seemed to be my uncle’s neighborhood. She just drove into the pedestrian roads and made some construction workers in a neighbor’s yard startled to see her car almost in front of them. I said to her, surprised too, “What are you doing? We are on the pedestrian roads. Please, turn over there.” It seemed that she was not able to tell the pedestrian roads from the drivers’ roads. So, I gave her direction, pointing it with my finger; I found her eyesight was not good enough to drive her car.
In another dream, she was driving my car. Then, I saw a tunnel in front of us. While we should go through the tunnel to get to our destination, she didn’t drive toward the tunnel, but toward the wall made of big rocks, next to the tunnel. I looked at her as if I tried to say to her, “Where are you going?” But it was too late, and the car hit the wall. It seemed that her eyesight was not good enough to drive a car so that she didn’t even realize she was going to the wrong path. As it was my car, I was trying to call my friends to get help to connect to the insurance company, being so upset.
After these two dreams of the accident caused by her, I felt the Lord repeated some messages and wanted me to intercede for her. In the two dreams, she had a serious problem in driving cars, i.e. poor eyesight. While I was still writing on these dreams, the Lord gave me the Scriptures:
He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. (1 John 2:9~11)
As I knew she harbored bitterness and unforgiveness toward important persons in her life for decades, I was able to make sense of the dreams, together with these Scriptures. And I felt I must intercede for her. I learned that when the Lord shows something to us, we really need to intercede. Dreams and visions shouldn’t function just as revelation, but it should lead to intercession in His will.
Our Father wants us to go to the right direction and fulfill our destiny He wrote in the book for each one of us before He created the heaven and the earth. I pray that He may speak to us through vehicle dreams to help us go to our destination successfully. He wants us to prosper in all things, including our jobs, our ministries and our callings. I pray you and I ask our Father to help us on direction, inspection and maintenance of our vehicles as well as wisdom to invite the right partners to our vehicles, in Jesus’ name.
Have a bliss!
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17~18)
