![]() Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? On November 5, 2020, I knew I had a dream, but was not able to recall. I asked the Lord to remind me of the dream He gave me. Graciously enough, it came into my memory. In the dream, I took an elevator and I knew I should go to the thirty-seventh floor. That was my destination. I tried to find out the button for the number thirty-seven, but I was not able to find any number buttons in the elevator. Interestingly, the buttons in the elevator for destination were alphabetic letters. Then, I found myself pushing the buttons for the word “CENTRAL” in a hurry, instead of the buttons for the words, “THIRTY-SEVEN.” While I was in the middle of pushing each alphabetical button for the word, “CENTRAL,” I knew I missed my destination. So, when the elevator door was opened somewhere, I simply got out of it and tried to find another elevator to go down. I took an elevator and this time, I got down below to Basement 4th or Basement 7th. Again, I got out of the elevator, instead of pushing the button in it to go up to my destination. I saw three elevators out there and there were two ladies smiling at me, to guide me to another elevator. After missing my destination, I was a bit nervous and asked a lady in order to make sure I take a right one. She kindly guided me to one elevator, and I took it. I found it strange to see three cubicles like toilets in the elevator. And I saw a man and his little daughter were already in the elevator. The man looked like Pastor Mark Johnson, the son of the late Pastor Neville Johnson. And there was a bike inside the elevator which hindered me from pushing the button for my destination. I was a bit annoyed as the bike stood in my way. However, I was able to push the number button for 37th floor and I finally went up there. It looked like an office building and I saw two Christian friends of mine. I found them doing a good job in watering and growing plant pots. When I woke up, I pondered the dream and I tried to find the meanings of elevator, the number thirty-seven, bike and so on. I felt the dream was really symbolic. The three elevators and three cubicles inside the elevator made me think of what the number three means. And I interpreted two Christian friends would mean the Body of Christ, the Church. And they did a good job. I thought I would understand what the elevator means, but I had no clue as to what the number thirty-seven would mean and whether it would even mean something. But when I looked up terminology in James Goll’s book, Dream Language, I was simply stunned. It said the number thirty-seven means the Word of God. Immediately, I was able to make sense that I push the buttons of alphabets “CENTRAL” for the number thirty-seven. I felt that this interpretation of the number would be related to Hebrew letters, as I recalled some preachers said Hebrew letters have numerical meanings. So, I googled the Hebrew numerical meanings for the number thirty-seven. I found out the numeric value for the only Son in Hebrew is thirty-seven and even in Greek, the words such as Jesus, Christ, Scripture and so forth includes numeric value, thirty-seven. Though I do not understand all those numeric value in Hebrew and Greek, I stood amazed by His revelation in the dream. Indeed, the Word of God, Jesus, the giver of Torah should be central. And I was reminded of the worship song “Jesus at the Center.” In addition, I looked up the meanings of bicycle and elevator and found out the meanings: Bicycle - works, works of the flesh, legalism, self-righteousness, working out life’s difficulties; Elevator - changing position, going into the spirit realm, elevated, demoted. I was also reminded that one of the key factors to the revival in a Derek Prince’s book, The Coming Revival was eliminating legalism. And I think it would be the message to the Body of Christ including you and me. With regard to going down to Basement floor, it dawned on me that Derek Prince taught water baptism in The Roman Pilgrimage. He shared his experience that he came to America for the first time in 1960’s and took an elevator in a hotel. In the elevator, he saw the buttons, one, M, three and so on and he saw the button B under one. He said to himself, “Ok, we are on one and we want to go up, but what is B?” And the Holy Spirit said to him clearly, “B is Basement, Burial and Baptism!” After finding out all of these, I was able to make more sense of the dream. I was in the elevator, the journey into the spirit realm. Before going up, I had to go down to Basement, i.e. being baptized, burying myself. After that, I was able to go up and I saw a man like a Spirit-filled Pastor and Prophet Mark Johnson and his little girl, who might symbolize the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Holy Spirit, respectively. And I was annoyed by the bicycle, i.e. legalism or self-righteousness, as I was afraid it might hinder me from pushing the button for my destination, the 37th floor. My destination is the Word of God, Jesus, who is the Center of it all. And when I finally got into the destination, I saw the Body of Christ fruitful with the tree of Life! What a dream! Interestingly enough, in about two weeks I received Our Finest Hour, the quarterly magazine from The Academy of Light and found the Pastor Mark Johnson wrote “Keep the main thing the main thing; Jesus as central” in his journal in the magazine. Dear Friend, I pray that you and I always put the Word of God, Jesus, at the center of every aspect in our lives. And I pray we read and meditate the Word of God more than ever before, and we bury ourselves and cut off legalism, self-righteousness or any work of flesh that hinders our intimacy with the Lord. May the latter rain rest upon us in the name of Yeshua, the Giver of Torah! Have a bliss! Yunee Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:16~17) Comments are closed.
