![]() Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? Do you like lions? I do. I still remember what I thought when I was little and watched a TV commercial. I think it was a commercial of a credit card company. A man was sitting on a luxurious chair and a lion with mane was sitting by his chair. When I saw that, I thought to myself, “I wish I would have the lion’s company just like that. Then, nobody would harm me.” I thought the company of a big lion would protect me from any harmful people, when I was little. When it comes to dogs, since my young days, I have always preferred big dogs such as Labrador retriever, German shepherd, and so on, to small breeds of dogs. Though I love all the small cute doggies, I feel big dogs give me lion-like sense of protection, and I also feel they are more like companions than little ones like toys. Long ago when I first watched the movie series, “The Chronicles of Narnia,” I simply loved them so much. And I liked the Lion, Aslan. At that time, I was not aware that C.S. Lewis was the author of the original novels, nor knew that Jesus is the Lion of Judah. When I got to know He is the Lion of Judah, I thought to myself, “No wonder that I loved the Lion since little!” On October 21st, 2020, I had a dream. It seemed I was in the woods. And I saw a very big Lion with mane walking from a far distance toward where I was. He was really big. I remember thinking I had never seen such a big lion before. He had a big head with mane. The way he walked showed he had dignity and power. I was scared and I hid myself behind the pillar of a building in the woods. From behind the pillar, I was recording the Lion walking toward the building with my phone camera. I felt somehow that He would not harm me, but I was in awe and fear, so I hid myself behind the pillar. And I saw Him talking to a boy or someone. Then, a friend of mine came to the pillar and said to me, “The Lion, with such authority and dignity as He, has His own name!” When I awoke from the dream, I felt it divine. Surely, our Lord has such a power and authority. And I think we, the children of the King, have His authority and power over the enemy too. “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). I like David Pawson’s teachings on the book of Revelation. He said we must read the book of Revelation and have a balanced view of Jesus. I think he mentioned something like Jesus was depicted as a feminine and meek character in the gospels. But in the book of Revelation, He comes as Judge and King. He comes to wage a war! Dear Friend, No matter what circumstance you are in, I would like to encourage you to turn your eyes upon the King of kings, the Lion of Judah. Imagine He roars toward the enemy, treading the ground with His big paw! The enemy is trembling. I pray that you and I know the presence of the Lion will always go with us and that He will give us rest, in the mighty name of Jesus. We proclaim His powerful Words in every circumstance of our lives. Have a bliss! Yunee “There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, Comments are closed.
