![]() Dear Friend, How are you? I'm very well. I'd like to share some amazing stories after I was born again in the prayer seminar. After I learned that prayer is communion with Him, and I could pray in tongue in the Spirit, my daily life was totally changed. It was like I really fell in love with Him. On the way to the office in the morning, I used to take a walk through a national park along the Geylang River, until I took a subway in a nearby station. And I was joyfully looking at the sky, thinking of Him and praying in tongue. And on the way back home, I wanted to get there as soon as possible just to have more time alone with Him. Every day was full of bliss. While I was joyful daily, I got to realize something new and something amazing. I could smell a nice fragrance just right under my nose as if someone sprayed perfume just close to my nostrils. But I was not sure where it came from, but said to myself, "Is my nose being doggy?" One day, when walking toward a bus stop after work, I could smell my favorite room perfume in a clothes store in Seoul, which I knew was discontinued for sales. I wondered where my favorite fragrance came from out of the blue and found some flowers near the bus stop. I intentionally walked toward them, to smell and see whether it was from them. But there was no fragrance from them. I knew my nose is quite sensitive, and I was the first one to spot on durian smell in Singapore among my colleagues when we walked together for lunch or coffee. Then, one night when I was shampooing my hair, I suddenly smelled a very thick aroma. I didn't know where it came from, and my shampoo had no fragrance. Feeling it quite bizarre, I went to my room and dried my hair. After drying my hair, I opened a little bottle of Moroccan oil. It was a free sample I got from a hair salon, and it was sealed with a sticker, as I didn't use it before. As soon as I opened the bottle and put one drop in my palm, I smelled the same thick aroma as I just had smelled during the shampoo. And immediately, Psalm 23:5, "You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over” (NKJV) came into my mind. And I knew He anointed me with fragrant oil, and I couldn't stop my tears. And even after that, He continued to let me smell the nice fragrance. Many times, I could smell it during my prayers, and after my prayers when I hit my head on my pillow. Just right under my nose. Sometimes, when walking or commuting or talking to someone or listening to preachers' sermons. Sometimes, sweet, other times fresh citric. I felt like He breathes His breath toward my nose so closely that He let me know He is right there with me. And I was touched, thinking He would grant me a privilege to glimpse Heaven, New Jerusalem. It would be not only bright with His creation, but it would be just fragrant like that. Many times, I dropped tears, overwhelmed by His kindness. He didn't have to breathe His fragrant breath, but He was kind enough to let His child feel His presence and glimpse our eternal Home. Dear friend, I wanted to remind you that He is as near as His breath under your nose. You may or may not smell or feel it, and it doesn't matter. He is always with you, and you and I would enjoy the very nice fragrance when we see Him face to face. Have a bliss! Yunee So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” (John 20:21~22) Comments are closed.
