![]() Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? In 2016 when I worked in Singapore, I bought some gold bars. I bought them, keeping in mind that when economy goes bad, I would support the churches and the poor with them. Then, I was not sure where I should put them. I didn’t have a safe at home. And I prayed in the Spirit and the Lord showed me my wardrobe. It was at the bottom of the wardrobe where I put a disposable dehumidifier and folded foot mats. When I opened my eyes, I looked at my wardrobe. The doors of the wardrobe had been always wide open. When I worked in Shanghai before moving to Singapore, I had freaking experiences that fungus spread over my clothes in the wardrobe, due to the high temperature and high humidity. More so, when I was away for two weeks with the air-conditioner turned off, to visit my mom in Korea. Since the experience, I was so concerned about fungus that I opened my wardrobe in Singapore. But, when I prayed over the place to keep gold bars safe, the Lord showed me the very bottom of the wardrobe which was always wide open. I actually thought of keeping them in my locker in the office. My employer moved the office recently at that time to the Finance Center, which had good security from the entrance in the lobby. I thought my locker in the office with my own password numbers would be safe. Yet I chose to obey Him, though the open wardrobe at home didn’t look safe. Later, I bought a few gold bars and put them into the folded foot mats at the bottom of the wardrobe. And I came to Korea as a regular visit to check out my mom and spend some time with her. Then, when I worked in Seoul office on one Friday, I read an email from a secretary in Singapore office to all the employees in there. She wrote that there would be some additional work in the office by the interior construction vendor during the weekend, after we moved to the new office. And she warned the employees that they should not leave any valuable belongings in their lockers, as the vendor has the master keys to them. I was surprised to read the email and thought that indeed He knows everything, and His thoughts are higher than mine. When I came back home in Singapore, I found my gold bars kept in safe inside the foot mats in the very wide-open wardrobe. Last year, I read a book on Korea’s Future Reunification written by one of the pastors in my Seoul church. The pastor shared one of his ministry’s testimonies. His ministry team planned to visit Papua New Guinea for a mission trip, but many of the team members said they couldn’t make the trip. And at the last minute, one businessman in his team said he might not be able to go to Papua New Guinea, either, due to his business. But the pastor encouraged him to join the team’s trip, saying God would make a way for his business. Finally, the businessman chose to listen to the pastor, and they were able to go to Papua New Guinea together. On the way back home, they laid over Sydney. Then, the businessman’s employer in Seoul called him and said their important partner abroad canceled the trip to Seoul, but he was on the way to Sydney. So, in Sydney, the businessman was able to make an important contract with the partner, staying in there for a couple of more days. Dear Friend, Sometimes, we hear from the Lord something that doesn’t make sense to us. Sometimes, it would look like we go against the grain. But I pray that you and I obey the voice of the Lord, trusting His ways and thoughts are higher than ours. Have a bliss! Yunee Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Comments are closed.
