Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? On March 24, 2021, I visited the website of Church Without Walls International by Pastor John Fenn. I’ve been reading his monthly newsletter in there, but not regularly. And I sometimes watched his short video in an online channel. On that day, I intentionally visited his website, to watch some videos on house church. I got to know from one of his videos that the Lord told him to start a house church, saying “It’s against the times to come.” And He wanted him to provide resources with those who would start house churches. I’ve heard many times that there would be many house churches in the last days due to persecution. Then, I took what my pastor in Singapore encouraged me to start a house church rather than to try to look for a church to attend, when I shared my plan to leave Singapore and go back home in Korea. At that time, it was quite refreshing. Back in 2016, when I heard a prophetess prophesy to me that I would be like Peter and the Lord says to me that He would build a church on me, the rock. At that time, I never interpreted the prophecy meant I would go to seminary and be a clergy in church. I interpreted that I would build a house church with my family or future family or like-minded friends. With that in my heart for some years, I recently watched some videos that Pastor John Fenn posted in the website and I found them very helpful and practical. He shared kind of trial and error in his experience for many years, and answered some questions that people asked him about house church. And he also said something like that people tend to think that revival would come through some kinds of big meetings in the auditoriums, but the process of discipleship is actually supernatural. I agree with him. After watching his videos, I became more interested in the idea of having a house church. Yet I also like some pastors’ teachings in traditional churches, and I think some of them might still thrive. So, I thought I would ask Father to confirm His will for me. I said to Him, “Father, can You please let me know whether You want me to start a house church or to find a traditional church, in a new season to come?” Then, on March 25, the very next day, I received a new email from Lana Vawser’s ministry with a new post, I Heard The Lord Speaking Over The Pioneers – “The Greatest Refreshment You Have Experienced By My Spirit Will Be Found On The New Pioneering Pathway I Am Leading You Into.” And I was amazed to read His Words: “HOUSES AND WELLS OF MY GLORY” I began to see HOUSES and WELLS being pioneered all across the earth. It reminded me of the encounter I had, had with the Lord recently where I saw the arks the Lord was establishing through the pioneers for His Glory to come and rest. As I looked at these “HOUSES and WELLS” the Lord spoke: “Pioneers, pray and fast, lean in and listen, for you are being positioned to HOUSE WELLS OF MY GLORY” The tangible presence of God was so thick in my office as He spoke those words. “… to HOUSE WELLS OF MY GLORY” Though they didn’t literally mention House Church, I felt the Lord answered my question in prayer. Later, I wanted to read Pastor Mark Johnson’s article, The New Church in Our Finest Hour, the quarterly magazine again that I read in November 2020. “Currently public meetings have closed turning into Zoom meeting, online streaming, online conferences etc. Is this the new church? - Well, yes and no, but it is part of something God is putting in place in preparation for the End- Times. The Body of Christ needs to embrace and move with what God is doing. We are moving into a new age and if we strive to go back to the old way “church” operated, we will miss this next move of God. … What did they do? They built each other up, worshipped the Lord, received revelation, spoke in tongues and had teaching. Putting this together with what the Lord revealed to me in 2016, it paints a picture of the End-Time Church, a resistance cell. If you don’t like the sound of that you can call it a cell group, house church, underground church. Personally I prefer calling it a resistance as it gives it a mindset of we are resisting satan’s kingdom, while building God’s Kingdom. … I believe this is a pattern we must start to transition to and we have already seen this happen in part. God has seen to it that we can no longer meet in church buildings, rather from our homes. We must continue down this path of gatherings of like-minded people in homes. This does not mean we don’t connect to a larger community, this is already happening too via online streaming but as restrictions ease, in large gatherings as well, that is until we see the total world wide shut down of Christianity, but we must keep the main thing the main thing; Jesus as central.” And I think that I was able to put pieces together from many prophecies on the latter rains and the coming revival through the unheard-of. I think that not only the persecution to come, but perhaps the global economic collapse might lead to the birth of many house churches. I recall a pastor prophesy that many churches that have loans for their church buildings and so on would not be able to survive, with the global economic collapse. And I speculate that not only for the loans, but traditional churches might not receive enough offerings for their clergies, due to their members’ economic difficulty. It strikes me a chord that that’s why some big churches would compromise with the anti-Christ, One World Religion, to survive, “updating” the Bible and twisting the Truth. Not only the prophecy, but I also made sense of what Derek Prince wrote in his book, The Coming Revival. Some of the requirements for the coming revival were unmasking the witchcraft in church and removing legalism. Certainly, there has been witchcraft spirit who tries to control believers, using manipulation and so forth. And the legalism in the traditional church just like the Pharisees in Jesus time must be removed. Friend, I do not know whether it speaks to you. But, if you also think it’s the calling from the Holy Spirit, I would like to encourage you to pray over it and to ask Him to confirm His will for you. I think to myself, “Why not start, if it’s against the times to come?” like the Lord spoke to Pastor John Fenn and told him to be the resource. Friend, I believe that you can be the resource, too, if you could start it sooner. And starting a house church doesn’t mean that we stop going to any traditional church. Pastor John said that we can go to a traditional local church’s night prayer gatherings and so on, together with the house church members. And he also shared many good examples like camping together with house church members for the house church meeting. And children can also lead the meeting and God worked through their creativity amazingly. It’s not always fathers’ leading the meeting, but they take in turns. In my next blog, I would like to share some dreams that I think were another confirmation from the Lord. In the meantime, if you are interested, you might want to visit Church Without Walls International website for more information. I pray that our Heavenly Father may give you direction clearly, in Jesus’ name. Have a bliss! Yunee having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit (Ephesians 2:20~22).
