![]() Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? Have you ever noticed our Father likes to play hide and seek with His children? I like Sister Margaret Seaward’s teachings a lot. She uses a lot of testimonies of others and hers, as well as a lot of her life stories as parables to teach us. Her sermons and teachings never got boring. In one sermon, she spoke about the Lord’s revelation in Ephesians chapter one. And she said when she raised up her five children, one of the easiest plays with her toddlers was Hide and Seek. She also said when she hid herself in too difficult a place, her kids would have given up and try to do their own play later. But, when she hid herself in easy places and even hung out of them, showing half of herself, her kids said, “AW~ Mama, I found you!” Sister Margaret would then ask the audience, “Did they find me, or I revealed myself to them?” Thus, she said it is how He reveals Himself to His children. These days when I try to interpret my dreams, I imagine our Heavenly Father smiling and looking at me, revealing something and enjoying playing Hide and Seek with His daughter. I know Lana Vawser, the Australian prophetess likes to search the meanings of the words, when God speaks to her. Last year, my friend in Singapore sent me a video link of Lana’s interview with an American prophetess. She shared a testimony about dreaming about Nike shoes. She searched out the meaning of “Nike” after the dream and found that it means “Victory” in Greek. After I watched the video, I went to the department store where I used to buy mom’s favorite foods and mine. On the way to the food department, I passed by the shoe department, and the first shoes that caught my eyes were “NIKE!” I had passed by that section so many times, but I had never seen Nike on the display before. I knew it was the Lord repeating the message, “Victory” to me, as He used to repeat His messages to me a few times in a day. I always think our Father has a sense of humor and enjoys playing with His children. Not only hide and seek, but I also found out He enjoys wordplay with His children. One morning in this fall, I had a short prayer to the Lord in the restroom in my place before running some errands. I was about to take a bus. I prayed that He sent His angels to me so that I would be protected from the coronavirus and from any harm such as theft. I went out and crossed the street toward a bus-stop. As soon as I got on the bus, I took a seat right behind the bus driver. I then saw another bus in front of the bus I took through the big window ahead of the bus driver. That bus has the number 1004, and I smiled. The number 1004 and the word “angel” in Korean are homonyms. I immediately knew the Lord was speaking to me. He heard my prayer, and His angels were with me. I also recall a friend of mine in Singapore church, who went to Africa with her husband for three years or so. She shared her testimony with me in person over dinner and tea. She is the friend who gave me bags of my favorite cookies that I shared in my very first blog “Psalms 34:8.” She said her husband wanted them to go to Africa to serve the Lord as missionaries, leaving his job for a few years. But she didn’t want to, as her daughter was a middle or high school student, and she had a cancer surgery. She shared her experience that she heard the Lord’s audible voice for the first time, in the middle of getting confirmation from Him. Not only that, she was confirmed when she saw her daughter put a picture of a luxurious car in her room out of the blue. And she got to understand the word “CAR” symbolizes the country that her husband wanted to go to, Central African Republic! After a few confirmations, she and her husband went to Central African Republic and served the Lord as missionaries. Recently, I listened to the sermons of Dr. Bruce Allen online. He shared his experiences in the walk with the Lord. I can’t recall all the stories he shared, but in one of his stories, he said he asked the Lord what His favorite brand of car was, looking at some brands of cars. And the Lord said to him, “BMW!” So astonished, he asked Him, “BMW???” and He said, “Be My Witness!” Dear Friend, Did they sound familiar to you? I think we must not limit the way our Heavenly Father communicates to us. He is creative and has a sense of humor. Most importantly, He loves to reveal Himself to us and to talk to us. Whether it’s through a pun or some scenes from TV or some lyrics of songs or dreams at night, He could speak to us. I pray that you and I enjoy playing with Him and ask Him to reveal Himself to us in His marvelous way in Jesus’ name. Have a bliss! Yunee If you seek her as silver, Comments are closed.
